  • Ghost Elf Group, Stealthy, Hoarder
Curved blades (d8 damage 2 piercing) 6 HP 1 armor
    Close

Thin, angular, and flesh the color of bone. Ghost elves flit and dart like quiet shadows, smiling as their curved blades slash through chain and flesh alike. They make no permanent homes that anyone is aware of. Some think they lurk in hidden caverns, swamps, and high in the mountains. It is rumored that they worship some elder thing slumbering within a block of ice. No one knows what they want, or where they come from, but many believe that they are not elves at all, but something older, and far more terrifying. Instinct: To eviscerate

    • Move like a whisper
    • Divide and Conquer

  • Strangling vine Group, Stealthy
Killer vines (d8 damage) 6 HP 0 armor
    Close, Reach, Near
Special Qualities: Looks like a vine, bendy

Be careful where you walk in the woods. Occasionally, the scent of blood is not from the eleven hunters nor the ferocious, instinctual wolves, but the vines themselves. A simple vine can hang a man from a tree against the man's will. A leaf can cut through human skin using magic. And the same vine can strangle one million people and never die. The vines are watered best with blood, although water shall ocassionaly do. And more importantly, NEVER USE THEM AS HOUSEPLANTS. If you do, you may never survive, although if you are a necromancer, you might be the first one to tame it to only kill your enemies.... Or maybe not. Probably not. Instinct: To kill

    • Look like a vine, then strangle its prey
    • Hide its prey and look exactly like a vine

  • Rippers Group, Intelligent, Terrifying
Bite, Acid Spit (b[2d8+4] damage 2 piercing) 10 HP 1 armor
    Close, Forceful, Ignores Armor, Near
Special Qualities: Its 9 pairs of eyes are on the bottom part of it's jaw.

Rippers are vicious creatures, often found in packs of 3-6. In the wild, like most animals, they are not dangerous to their surroundings, and the only reason they would attack is when they feel threatened or if they sense fear. Local hunters often use these beasts if wolves or other common predators aren't found in some areas. The reason these creatures are more dangerous than the common hound, are their very sharp fangs that rip through armor like a knife through butter, as well as their acidic spit. As their means of protection, they have thick hide that, if properly extracted, could be used as scale armor. In addition to that, they use their 4 arms to deflect and parry blows made by their attacker. Instinct: To hunt

    • Shred, Dig, Screech

  • Baby Dragon Solitary, Large, Stealthy, Hoarder
    Claws (d10+4 damage 1 piercing) 16 HP 2 armor
    Forceful

Although she is far from mature, this young dragon won't stop at anything in its quest to obtain treasure. Any who come between it and its desire are sure to find themselves in trouble. Since she has not developed her fire breath yet, this dragon uses her tail, claws, and teeth to tear apart her enemies. Instinct: Obtain Treasure

    • Bite
    • Tail Sweep

  • The Shadows That Melt Flesh Horde, Tiny, Stealthy, Intelligent, Planar, Amorphous
Millions of tiny bites (b[2d6-2] damage) 6 HP 1 armor
    Hand, Ignores Armor
    Special Qualities: Completely intangible swarms

Each individual shadow is actually a swarm of tiny, dust-sized demons. No one is quite sure where they come from, or how to kill them, but it is known that children of every species on every plane of existence know to fear the darkness . . . Instinct: To spread

    • Devour flesh
    • Impersonate voices
    • Absorb knowledge from those it kills
