Coalroot Plant Group, Small Strike with the edge of razor sharp leaves (d8 damage 2 piercing) 6 HP 0 armor Close Coalroot plants grow to be around waist height on a human. They have thick, black stalks with thin, dark grey, leafless branches. They grow in small groups of 3-5 and (as a collective) can sense when pray is around. Visually, they are a ball of magic with a solid centre, that centre is the black heart of the create. If a patterned whistler sees anyone near or around its nest, it will assume it is a predator. Patterned whistlers are mostly know however for the things they are protecting...their eggs. The eggs have breath-taking patterns covering it and are a fitting prize for any person. They are almost a commodity for the wealthy however getting your hands on one is difficult. Over thousands of years people have figured out how to preserve the eggs after a young bird has been born from it, this means that if an egg is found/taken they young bird can hatch and the exquisite egg can be kept. Savage Shadow Dweller Solitary, Large Claws at its enemies or anything in its path (d12+4 damage) 20 HP 2 armor Forceful, Ignores Armor A Savage Shadow Dweller lurks in the darker regions of the world (Caves, Dungeons, etc.) and is known rarely to surface. The first giveaway of its presence is its glowing red eyes, described to look like bright rubies fixated into the skull of the beast. Its massive size and power means it is able to chase its pray destroying mostly everything in its path; walls, trees, small buildings. Descriptions of the beast are scarce however it is rumoured to have thick, black scales with a hint of shining purple mixing throughout its colour covering its entire torso, legs and feet.
