    You soldiers think you know the horrors of war? What of those that war over runs? Have you been a mother-to-be in war? Hiding your unborn child, and cut down in a display of new authority. You can't rest after that! Their loss drives them back from death to search for their child. Enraged by the injustice of their death, these women seek rest in finally bringing a child into the world. If you should see a comely lass on the edge of the forest, just outside or a village, where one would hide from the likes of you, or find a cache of children's toys and shiny trinkets. Well beware then that you don't succumb to such folly, as a quick roll in the bushes with a "farmer's daughter taking a late night swim", for you will see their true face, when they share their wrenching pain of lost motherhood with you.     When a mortal makes a deal with hell and sells its soul, the demon responsible for the bargain tears out a shard of that person's soul and reshapes it into a quasit. The quasit assist the one who sold his or her soul, which it is bonded to. When that person dies, the quasit makes a final journey to Hell with the soul, before dissolving and allowing the two to become whole. This has the added benefit, for the devils anyway, of circumventing much of the afterlife's bureaucracy. Instinct: To bring its bonded soul to Hell

    Hissing dark secrets to their brethren, their mystic gestures and shinny bulging eyes give little of their intentions away. Although their tattered cloaks obscure their features, these humanoids are covered in protective scales which should give them just enough projection from any "Heroes" to bring their master plans to fruition. Their Poison Spray Causes "Weak" then "Weak and Shaky" debilities, and if untreated with antivenom, complete Blindness in 2 days. Instinct: Cunningly Serve
