claws, bite, grapple, soulsuck (b[2d10+4] damage 1 piercing) 25 HP 4 armor
    Reach, Ignores Armor
    Special Qualities: skeletal, undead

In a hole in the ocean, trapped by a mangrove forest, something lurks among silt and roots. It's dead, but not in a way that mortals can understand. It languishes and rots, waiting until it can grasp life once again in its stiffened fingers. That is now its eternal state -- reaching, raking, wrapping, sinking -- and whatever it can have, it takes. It isn't without its tricks. It understands even what it lacks, and it will use it against you in the cruelest of ways. It hears dreams and dangles that which you love just out of reach, until you've waded too far and it can take you. Instinct: to enter our living world

  • Gnorri Group, Large, Organized, Intelligent
    spear (b[2d8] damage) 10 HP 3 armor
    Reach
Special Qualities: shifting organs, limb allocation

Gnorri are driven by individual accomplishment and curiosity. This leads some gnorri to want to explore lands above and beyond their aquatic homes. Gnorri appear vaguely humanoid from the torso up, with a tentacular lower trunk. Above water, they exude a protective layer of slime. They range from 8 to 13 feet long and weigh from 250 to 1,500 pounds. They posses an eerie mutability of their flesh and bones. While their basic shape remains solid, everything else is in constant motion, including organs. This trait allows them to withstand sudden trauma to their bodies and even grow or retract limbs, an exhausting process that is limited to four arms. Gnorri have three sexes: female, male, and builder. Builders move mud and stone using an innate magic, allowing them to create homes. Instinct: to learn and hunt

Their green mottled skin allows them to blend into their swamp habitats. They are masters of deception and have the power to polymorph into any humanoid, a physical change that can only be perceived using magical means or after the Slaad's death, whereupon they revert to their original form. While clever, Green Slaadi posses an intelligence similar to that of a human. They are prideful and boisterous, which can be used against them. They bear long claws but prefer to attack from afar.
