Fists of clay (d8+2 damage) 14 HP 2 armor
    Forceful
Special Qualities: Immune to bludgeoning weapons

"It took one hundred slaves to drag the massive block of firm clay up the steps to the altar. The high priest prayed over it for forty days and nights, all the while shaping the clay into the figure of a man and anointing it with sacred oils. On the fortieth night the man of clay rose up off of the altar, mutely taking it's place by the gates of the great temple to stand guard against those who would defile the sacred place. Even centuries after the empire fell, it's still there, still standing guard." Instinct: To serve the high priest

    • Stand guard against looters and heretics
    • Bestow a curse of the old gods

"When I spoke the words to banish the illusion, I saw the chancellor's true form. His head was that of a tiger, the fangs long and the eyes shining with malevolence. His skin took on the stripes of the great cat down his bare arms, to the hands which bent backwards, as if attached in reverse. He sneered at me. 'Fool... You think your parlor tricks will undo my works? I will show you the true powers of Hell!'" Instinct: To indulge in tyranny and cruelty

    • Strike with infernal might
    • Conceal its true nature with an illusion
    • Call forth hellfire and lesser demons

  • Skyhawk Solitary, Small, Stealthy, Planar
    Talons (d10 damage 1 piercing) 12 HP 0 armor
    Close

"I first took it for an especially large bird of prey, but the bright blue bands upon its wings made me think it was not of this world. As I watched, it seemed to vanish into the sky, nothing more than a faint outline where it was anymore. I have heard of these hawks originating from the elemental plain of Air, where they are kelp as pets by the djinn and used as a noble would use a falcon. Though djinn and their skyhawks have no interest in hunting rabbits; they hunt men who offend them. The skyhawk has an uncanny camouflage ability, making them difficult to spot until they are about to sink their talons into your head. Against the background of the sky, they are all but invisible. " The feathers of a skyhawk are imbued with a fraction of elemental Air power, and their coloring makes them valuable to a fletcher. An arrow or crossbow bolt made with skyhawk arrows is never deflected by high winds. Furthermore, when such an arrow is fired under the open sky and the dice come up doubles, a devastating stroke of lightning strikes whatever the arrow hits. Some say that this is the act of a vengeful djinn getting revenge upon the one who slew his pet. Instinct: To slay on behalf of its djinn masters

    • Swoop and strike the unwary
    • Fly unseen
    • Harry the prey mercilessly
