The Elves of the Old Mother are quick, cunning, and highly dangerous. Led by the warrior princess, Aisanda, the Elves will do anything to defend their ancestral forest. Feeling constant encroachment from the human soldiers and lumber workers of Locksdeep, the Elves have started organizing attacks upon any foreign intruders into their slowly dying, receding woods. Through the use of spears, bows, and paralytic darts, the Elves subdue their enemies, often scalping their fallen foes. Recently, the Elves lost the glowing, golden heart of their ancient tree, the Old Mother, and suspect the humans of Locksdeep as the culprits. If unable to gain back the heart, and restore life to their forest, they will resort to invading the small, desolate village of Locksdeep. Though the magic of their forest is slowly fading, the arcane runs heavily through these dark skinned, cat-eyed peoples. Because of this, they retain the ability to meld into the shadows of the forest and its foliage in order to allude their enemies. Instinct: To protect its ancestral forest at all costs
