The elves and the druids always tell men that the forest is alive, but never are they taken seriously. And so injustice against the trees continue: the lumbering, the burning, even the occasional names carved into them by lovestruck youths. Only when the roots of all trees band together into a being for the sole purpose of protecting their lands, do people see their wrongdoing. Only then do they see the life in the forest.
