Ingot Bird Solitary, Tiny Song of dissolution (special effect) 2 HP 0 armor Hand, Near This small bird has beautiful plumage that shimmers between green and bronze in the light, and is believed to have originated through rogue magic or from some chaotic sphere. It is a peaceful creature, but is a cause of much concern for most adventuring parties due to its dietary adaptations. It eats metal, or rather drinks it. Normally acting as any regular songbird, when a source of metal is nearby it will focus its song on the source. If unprotected the metal will begin to enter a liquid state, this can turn a full suit of plate-mail into a large puddle in under a minute. Any metal thus turned will stay so for up to an hour before returning to a solid state. If threatened it will retreat to a safe distance where it can continue its song, and once the danger has passed it will move to drink from the liquid metal. Because of this, many experienced adventuring parties will kill Ingot Birds on sight. Instinct: To drink metal
- Turn a metal item to liquid
- Fly to a safe distance
