    Barghests are goblinoid spirits sent back to the material plane for some purpose. They have the ability to shift between a form resembling their original mortal one and a more powerful wolf form. By devouring corpses, they can add traits from the body to their current body, traits that they lose should they be destroyed and their souls be sent back to the great beyond. Instinct: To feast upon the traits of the dead

  • Flame Drake Horde, Large, Organized, Hoarder

    Flame drakes, like all drakes, a relatives of the true dragons, though less powerful and intelligent. The flame drake, much like the red dragon, prefers to lair in mountainous and desolate areas, but gladly come down in large packs to hunt in more fertile land. Their fireballs do damage at a reduced damage die, but can target groups and ignore armour. Instinct: To eat

    Bugbears are the largest of the goblin species, standing tall over the smaller hobgoblins and goblins. Despite their increased musculature, they are known to be frighteningly stealthy, having a natural aptitude for camouflage and moving silently. Instinct: To hunt

    Owlbears have led to a lot of debates, mostly about wether the yare a result of weird evolution or yet another mad wizard. Either way, owlbears a fearsome predators, only made more fearsome if their family is threatened. That their roar is an insistent meep-meeping does nothing to diminish the terror they bring.     Giant bees are like normal bees, but giant. Also, unlike normal bees, they don't die from stinging, which makes pissing them off an even worse idea. Unless your'e into beeing repeatedly harpooned by a bee the size of a bicycle. Instinct: To protect its hive

    Thornless are fey incarnation of pointless conflict and a drawn to sites of such events. They are curmudgonly, grumpy and perpetually dour, taking no joy in the bloodshed and pain they inflict, seeing it as a bitter task they just have to do. They look like humanoid plants of a sort associated with needles and thorns, such as roses, cacti or thorn bushes, but they themselves have no points. Instinct: To initiate pointless conflicts

    Upasunda are one of teh asuras, beings brought into existence by divine mistakes. Upasunda where once devotees of a master of martial arts, who transcended into divinity through sheer self-control. Seeing this, his disciples begged to be brought along with him to the divine and he did indeed try to do so. That turned out to be a mistake. Having not gained enlightenemnt themselves, they immediately fell out of Heaven and crashed back to the material plane, their brief exposure to the planes beyond having forever changed them into something different. Instinct: To transcend mortality
