    Special Qualities: Jaghut Tyrants will often make promises with no intention of keeping them.

    The Jaghut are taller and broader than humans, with tusked lower jaws. Their skin is grey-green and hair was generally grey. The Jaghut are extremely long-lived (essentially immortal in the sense that they would not die except through violence or accident). They adapted to living in a cold climate, and generally preferred an Arctic environment. Instinct: Aggressive.

    • Use Finnest: If a Jaghut Tyrant finds and uses it's Finnest it gains +20HP and +2d6 damage die on all melee attacks.
    • Omtose Phellack: The Jagut channels great torrents of ice, freezing in place any character it touches who must then roll Defy Danger + Str to break out.

  • T'lan Imass Bonecaster Group, Divine, Magical, Intelligent, Hoarder, Terrifying

    Special Qualities: Imass can turn to dust at will. While travelling as dust they can cover hundreds of feet in seconds to then materialize and attack.

    T'lan Imass are like walking mummified corpses. They can travel great distances with incredible speed by becoming one with the earth beneath their feet. This also enabls them to seemingly materialize out of nowhere to ambush their prey. They can cross bodies of water, but can only find their shape on land. Bonecasters wear tells of their soltaken forms (eg Deer horns and pelts). Instinct: Uncaring unless provoked.

    • Soletaken (creature): Each Bonecaster can merge into their chosen animal form. Treat this move as the Druid's Shapeshift).
    • Quake: The earth shakes and splits for a distance of 50ft x 10ft dealing d6+2 damage. Any Imass in the AoE are instanly turned to dust and must spend time regaining their form.

    Special Qualities: The Imass are undead warriors held together by the Tellan Ritual. They are skeletal, with hanging, rotting flesh.

  • Annomander Rake: First Son of Darkness, Knight of High House Dark, Lord of the Mourning, Bearer of Dragnipur. Solitary, Magical, Divine, Intelligent, Cautious, Planar, Terrifying

    Close, Forceful, Ignores Armor, Near
    Special Qualities: When in Rake's presence (in combat) the force of Dragnipur pushes against you. Roll Defy Danger +con to avoid being Stunned.

    Described by alchemist Barak as having jet-black skin and a mane which flowed silver. Rake's features were sharp as if cut from onyx and his eyes, described as multihued, had a slight upward tilt and large vertical pupills. Baruk perceived them as changing colour from a deep hue of amber to grey and banded - a rainbow of colours. Rake was nearly seven feet tall and on that occasion was cloaked and wore boots. He also carried an enormous two-handed sword on his back. Instinct: Brooding and thoughtful. Attacks if extremely necessary.

    • Annomander Rake's reputation precedes him. He not only lives up to that reputation but exceeds it. He cannot be influenced by others (parley rolls always fail).
    • Dark Presence: Annomander Rake summons tendrils of darkness. All attacks against him take -2 forward.
    • Soletaken Elient: Take the from of a massive Black Dragon (see Annomander Rake Dragon monster card) and can change between forms at will.
    • Dragnipur: If killed by Dragnipur roll Last Breath. On 10+ the player is chained to the Wagon of Dragnipur, but the chain has a cracked link. On a 7-9 the player is chained to the wagon but walk beside a ancient mage. On a 6- you are doomed to pull the wagon of Dragnipur for eternity.

    Tiste Andii are tall and ebony-skinned with almond-shaped eyes which could change colour. Their hair is generally kept long and tends to be either black or silver. Instinct: Avoids violence but will fight viciously if provoked.

    • Tisti Andii Warriors perfer to fight alone, trusting in their superior swordsmanship.
    • Tiste Andii Warriors take 1+ forward to armour if fighting against other swordsman due to their expert knowledge of swordsmanship.

    A giant Dragon with vast, iron-hued wings and a single glowing red eye. Instinct: To Attack Viciously

    • Scabandari Bloodeye takes his Soletaken Elient form; that of a giant Iron-hued Dragon.
    • Shadow Breath: Casts the battlefield in shadows causing -1 forward to attack rolls to all non Edur races and +1 forward to attack rolls for all Edur.
    • Shadow Phase: Bloodeye can move in the shadows. He can enter any shadow and reappear from any other shadow within a 100ft.
    • Soltaken: Bloodeye can change between his Soletaken Elient from and his Tiste Edur form at will.

    In his Tiste Edur form Bloodeye has skin the shade of hammered iron, long grey hair, a gaunt, aquiline face with hard, and close-set eyes. Instinct: Cautious. Will strike first to avoid being betrayed.

    • Soletaken Eleint: Shape-shift into dragon form. See 'Scarbandari Bloodeye Dragon' monster card.
    • Shadow Phase: Bloodeye can move in the shadows. He can enter any shadow and reappear from any other shadow within a 100ft.
    • Call to arms: Bloodeye lets out a vicious, ear piercing scream. Any Edur Warriors or warlocks in the area (roll 2d4+2 for warriors and 1d4+1 for Warlocks) rush to his aid.

    Extended use of Elder Magic twists the Edur Warlocks body into agonizing contortions. Every time they cast a spell they take d2 damage. 6 HP

    Instinct: Thirst for power and destruction.

    • Cyclone of Chaos: d4 large cyclonic bursts of Elder Magic twists through the battlefield dealing d4 damage (per cyclone) to all targets (friend or foe) in a 20ft radius. Targets must roll Defy Danger +dex for each cyclone to avoid damage.
    • Hide in Shadows: Edur are from the warren of Kurald Emurlahn (Shadow) and therefore only a roll of 10+ on discern realities would reveal nearby Edur Warlocks.

  • Tiste Edur Warrior Group, Organized, Intelligent, Hoarder, Planar

    Edur were grey-skinned with brown hair and angular eyes. They are of a height with the other Tiste peoples(taller than human), but of a more brutal cast. Their clothing is barbaric in appearance, made from hides from various animals, and decorated with fetishes, claws, bones, and seashells. In addition, they wore a wide belt upon which were placed marks indicating the number of victories they had achieved in battle. Instinct: Cautious; yet vicious if provoked. Will defend it's kin ferociously with little regard for it's own safety.

    • Dual Wield Spears
    • Aid: during combat any Edur Warrior can use it's uncanny endurance to run for help from close by scouting parties of Edur Warriors. This move is only used in dire circumstances as Edur are proud warriors.
    • Hide in Shadows: Edur warriors are from the warren of Kurald Emurlahn (Shadow) and therefore only a roll of 10+ on discern realities would reveal nearby Edur Warriors.
